What is the best Jewish book you’re not reading? Go on, guess! According to the editorial staff over at Jewsweek, the answer to that question is none other than Rev. Smith’s own The Brick Testament: Stories from the Book of Genesis. What, did you think LEGO-illustrated stories from the Old Testament would only appeal to Christians and atheists? Oy vey, who do you think first wrote these stories? I’ll give you a hint: it wasn’t the Christians. Also, it was not the atheists. Did you know that 2004 is the Year of the Jew? OK, I just made that up, but it sounds pretty cool.
